Just got back from seeing The Painted Veil, if you get a chance you should go see it. It's absolutely fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. The only bad part is that I had to go see it in a cramped little art theatre with a lady behind me who was talking through the entire film and completely spoiled the ending about halfway through. I'm not a big fan of our school's library (we're not even supposed to call it that), which only allows two people to sit at a table that has four chairs. As well as forbidding students to take the chairs from the tables in order to sit at these desk cubby things that are situated near the tables. I've found that "acting" out act one of a play that none of us have ever seen before in Shakespeare can be quite boring. It's quite like a blind date, it's awkward, no one makes eye contact, no one exits when they're supposed to and it can descend into a mess that leaves everyone involved wanting to fall asleep out of boredom ( Read more... )
