What do you think about…?
008.Country Music: Country is OK, country western is not. I tend to prefer rock and roll that has a dirty-sounding country edge, i.e. Aerosmith. And the lyrics are generally quite good.
009.Love: Love is a word that describes an amorphous, ineffable, confusing cloud of feelings. I think that society has portrayed it as something much more concrete than it is. Though if I had to describe it, in essence, it feels like being addicted to another human being.
010.Chicken: One of my staple foods
011.Arranged Marriages: I think that Westerners are too quick to judge these. A friend of mine who is Indian recently had one and he seems very happy. He and his wife view it as more of a business arrangement -- he is the breadwinner, she takes care of the household and the children. It's not for me, but if someone is raised in a society where it is the norm I understand why they'd want that.
012.Drugs: I did my fair share in high school, but now I've moved past that. I'll have a drink at a bar or smoke pot occasionally, but I'm done with everything else. I don't have anything against other people doing drugs as long as they are responsible and don't just sit around wasted all the time.
013.Organized Religion: If it makes people feel better about their lives and it causes them to be better people, fine. If it causes followers to discriminate, treat people badly, or wage culture wars then I have a huge problem.
14.Sex: Good clean fun :) Seriously, I'm not one to judge other peoples' motivations behind their sexual choices. If someone sleeps around because they enjoy it, more power to them. I only have a problem if people do it out of insecurity or a need for validation.
015.Low-Carb Craze/Atkins Diet: OK for people who are genuinely insulin resistant, stupid for someone looking to shed a few pounds before prom. Also people should eat healthy if they are on it, and have a grilled chicken breast instead of a bacon cheeseburger most of the time.
016.Same-Sex Marriages: The ban on same-sex marriages is legislated bigotry and nothing more.

024.Your greatest achievement? I wrote a facial recognition program for my thesis, I got two scholarships to college, and I've held a lot of good jobs for someone my age. Oh, and I faced my fear of sharks when I swam with them in the Bahamas.
025.What is your biggest fault? I'm very scatterbrained
026.If you only had 24 hours to live, what would you do? And who would you spend it with? I'd eat a good meal, have sex with my boyfriend, then grab my snorkel gear and wait in the ocean for the end of the world
027.A magical guy grants you one wish; what is it(And no, i wish for a million more wishes; or anything like that)? Honestly...I'd wish for a huge pile of money. It doesn't buy happiness, but I have a loving family, great friends, a wonderful boyfriend, good health, and I've always gotten good jobs. So if I had a lot of money on top of all that it would be the total package :)

029.What do you do in your spare time?(video games,sports; tell us which ones or something else about what you do) I do a lot of computer programming, including coding open-source software (see two nice ones at http://freshmeat.net/users/erica057 ). Also I love going to clubs, cooking, going to bars, reading, going to the beach, and traveling whenever I have the opportunity.
