thursday, may 20, 2004
8:00 am we leave fucking bakersfield
12:00 lunch at the fisherman's wharf
2:00 visit to aquarium to see fishes do battle
5:00 check into best western park crest motel and eat dinner
friday, may 21, 2004
9:00 am we attend the festival at the defense language institute
3:00 pm we leave lovely monterey and head back to boring bakersfield
7:00 - 8:00 we are back in bakersfield
i've been looking forward to this trip for a long time and it'd be heartbreaking if i couldn't go.
seats are filling up fast and i haven't turned in my permission slip yet.
i'm such an idiot.
