Jamaica!!!
well i really wanted to do this last year but i AM going to do it this year...
Tuesday (arrival) June 14,2005
Today i woke up at 3:30 am and went with my family to the church to leave for Jamaica. We left the church and headed to OIA with my dad driving and i sat by Brittany and we played with the pupperts we made "Kevin & Becky" it was pretty funny!! We left on a flight to Miami that connected to a flight to Jamaica. I sat by Ashley R, and Elena was by her. Ashley and I danced to music on the plan and kept saying "you da pilot!!" lol.. and i was trying to tell her i yawned and i could hear better, but i looked at her and said " I YAWNED!!..." and she laughed really hard and i scared her pretty bad... we got to Miami and goofed off most of the time, caught the flight to Jamaica. We did our paperwork for jamaican customs on the plane, we got off and went thro customa, and i rode with Travis, Codfish, and Elena in travis' rental car to Ocho Rios where we went to Burger King. We had to wait for Travis to buy stuff so we sat there and said jokes. most of them were pretty lame.. but hey we were tired! haha... Then i went wit Travis again to our house so we thought.. (oh ya elena fell asleep in the car.. and she was talking.. it was funny...) well our luggage truck broke down so we had to go find it.. oo gee.. so we sat on the curb and sung songs.. and watched jamaicans walking by.. then we went in the car and danced to the music on the radio (which were really old songs) lol.. and people kept looking at us and laughed. We went on this insane mountain and it was soo pretty!!! we got to the house and we had to carry the luggage up to the house.. its got such an AWESOME view!!!!!!! om gosh!! =)!! we got our, luggage out.. had a bible study (oh and weasel got his cool aid on my shirt so i had to bleach it out.. i was kinda mad.. but w.e!!) well, lights are out so i cant see soo NITE!!

Wednesday (Day 2) June 15, 2005 ((11:03 pm.. JAMAICA TIME...))
Today was alot of fun!! we walked all the way (2 miles +) to Gayle Church of Christ.. and had a meeting there. WE handed out flyers to everyone and then went to the church to have a devo, and find out where chris (the preacher guy) wanted us to go.. this girl named "Macie" whos 18 went wit us. She is really really kewl!! she laughed at us Americans and our funny sayings.. such as ( It's O.K.!!! DING!!!.. Do it you wont!! haha!!)) and she taught us some.. such as "wah guan"(sp?) (meaning whats up??))... they were pretty funny.. she saved my life a couple million times.. because i would walk in the middle of the road and a car would be coming.. well we went all the way up the mountain to where the house was and up. we walked down this side street and got a study for sunday.. and i fell in the "mud" ouch!!! and i laughed soo hard.. then we studied with this lady and her sons came out and they started talking about marriage and "other things" HAHA!! and it went well and long, but i didnt talk much becuz i couldnt understand them. then we went yp to "tacky high school" and got two more studies.. we got sodas.. and met macies friend and she walked wit us. we took a funny video of me being pushed into the road. then we got another study and found this one guy and waited so we took a video of us learning to dance we learned "sesame street" " scooby doo" and a few others... then we walked back and i fell about 4 more times.. we climbed up the mountain to the house.. what a walk, ate lunch, and hung out... then we drove and taxied out to a river it was NICE!! and me and travis went off and tryed to swing from a vine. but it broke.. then we swam some more and made some jokes and laughed .. we played volley ball and jumped off the rocks into the water.. then we came back to the house.. practiced our skits.. and went to the church that was fun!! the church meeting went well.. i sat bye celeste and she was telling me things haha!! but i finally just got up and left her becuz the conversation got bad haha!.. then we started on "jamaica time" and sand some songs and talked afterwards made some joke.. about the "stock market" HAHA!! then barry gave us a free ride home.. and i sat upfront.. then we got home.. sang songs.. and i listened to music and fell asleep..

Thursday (Day 3) June 16, 2005
Today... we got up and i did my quiet time.. in front of the house and then ate some cereal without milk becuz i tryed it and it tasted BAD!! i almost threw up. Then we hung out at the house laughed alot.. i dont remember why. and had a group meeting and road in the car to the church. We sang some upbeat songs, clapped, "danced", and waited for Christopher. After he came we saw that macie wasnt there so we decided to wait, but she didnt come so we headed up the mountain walking. We made some jokes about how we were alone in a foreign country without macie. We talked to people about the church meetings, youth ralley, movie nite, and VBS. We got all the way up the mountain after I fell a couple of times, and we went to our first study, but she didnt answer so we kept walking and asked two other people to study, but they said "no". We laughed at a dog and made kissing sounds at it so Joel pretended to talk for it and said "kisses for me?" it was soo funy. We set up a bible study and walked down the mountain. We went to Maxinees and studied with her and gave her a bible, then we walked down to "Tacky High school" and waited for Rachelle, but she didnt come. Then when Joel and Megan were buying drinks some guy asked Brittany for her shoes and she said "what am i going to wear?" and he said "u can walk barefoot" and we laughed and kept walking and the Jamaicans from the school starated yelling "hey whittey!!" we kept walking and went to a study were a kitten kept bitting my fingers. We went back up to the house and Joel said "oh my dang" and I said dont say that say oh my dog.. so he started saying that. We ran up the hill and i fell. then we ate lunch "curry goat " but i didnt eat it.. then we talked wit barry and went to a bible study and when we came back i took a shower and then washed my hair outside. i cut my ankle shaving in the bathroom and i yelled ouch and joel goes what did u do.. cuz he was int he room next door where the bathroom was.. and i told him what i did and he said GOOD JOB! haha.. then i listened to music and went wit travis, zach, and karina to get beef patties.. then we came back and practiced our skit. , and we played wit the kids. and then ashley started yelling "shut up and ill kill u!!" HAHA.. then we came back and had mac n cheese and changed for bed.. and joel was pretending to be a girl.. well im going to bed NITE!

Friday (Day 4) June 17, 2005
this morning we woke up to Karina yelling "MEGAN! MEGAN!! DRESS ME!! MY MOM WOULD DO IT!!! GIVE ME MY SHOE!! and other such things. well we went to the church and then went onto our bible studies.. then this guy stopped us and was talking to us so i thought i was gunna faint but i didnt.. then we talked to ppl about our meetings at the church. then we went back to the house and i took a shower.. then we went around the town wit a big P.A system and told the town about the movie nite and VBS and the youth nite.. then we went up to the church and had a meeting and youth nite.. but then the lights went out so we couldnt play the movie ERG SATAN!! but we did our skits and codfish's skit was hilarious they sang things that could be peoples passsions codfish sang "sexual immorality!!" it sounded soo funny.. and blackford yelled "cars.. cars.. cars cars cars.." HAHA!! then we hung out and learned some new dances from the jamaicans.. then we went back home and i went to bed...

Saturday (day 5) June 18, 2005
Today we got up and had a VBS for the kids in the area in jamaica.. we taught them songs and played games.. and we did this skit were they jumped on all the americans.. it was really fun!! we played volley ball and everything.. and i got alot of pictures.. and codfish, sammy, elena, weasel, and elena were dancing to a music video b4 VBS s0 i taped them... then we went back to the house for lunch.. an changed into our bathing suits and went to the old mission house where the cliff is.. and i went wit the car crew.. Travis, Codfish, Becca, and Celeste.. and we talked about Codfish's past relationships and travis' it was funny.. then we got there and other ppl we didnt kno were staying in the house so we said hello and then i jumped off the cliff... we went way out to where it was black!! SO KEWL!! and i jumped off a total of 6 times.. and i cut my arm on the coral! ouch!.. but i had alot of fun.. then we went back to the house.. after going to another river.. some stores and other things.. well going to bed NITE

Sunday (asthma attack) June 19, 2005
there were baptisms today.. then we had a church service.. and sammy taught.. and we went back to the house and ate jerk chicken.. i messed wit joel becuz he was eating cereal.. while we were going to our study.. then we walked all the way to the church and i couldnt breath so i had to sit down.. and chill and i had a mini asthma attack.. we went out to the car.. me and mrs. luther and she sat there wit me .. i finally started breathing reg. and Travis and Codfish made me sit upfront in the car.. and travis told me that he could tell i wasnt singing upfront wit them becuz he said that sometimes sopranos go off key and that i never do.. and i sing out alot and that the other sopranos follow me.. and i said aww thanks travis.. then we went back to the house and i fell asleep on a float outside during devo.. and everyone told me i was moaning and they were laughing at me.. then i felt really bad so they told me to go to bed.. but i couldnt sleep so i sat outside and started feeling homesick so travis and zach came out and was talking to me.. and travis was rubbing my back and gave me a hug then i felt ok so i went inside and fell asleep...

Monday (JAMES BOND BEACH!) June 20, 2005
We waited for barry to come and then went over to James Bond Beach.. were we just chilled and hung out and swam the whole day for 6 hours.. i got a BAD sun burn.. so on our way home i just sat there wit the air on me.. we went and got sodas and talked in the car about random things.. nothing that interesting happened today.. but i had alot of fun at the beach.. then i fell asleep when we got to the house..

Tuesday (leaving to go to Montego Bay) June 21, 2005..
we drove over to Dunns river falls after packing everything up.. and we were like eww white people haha becuz we hadnt seen any all week!! lol.. cept us.. and we walked up to one of the jamaicans and said "wah guan" and he goes where did u learn that!! haha.. and then we went up the falls and the water was going SOO FAST!! we just hung out and then went to Bk and ate lunch.. then went over to the hotel in Montego bay.. it was soo nice from what we were use to!! then we went over to Margarettaville and it was soo kewl.. there was a slide that went down into the ocean.. and we went under these trampolene things.. it was fun! then we went back to the hotel and swam.. and took showers and went to bed...

we got on 2 diff airplanes.. and went to america haha thats it basically.. and like half of our church was there when we got off the airplane.. o ya and in miami airport sammy was running like napolean hah~!!
