...this is amazing. It literally made my heart throb and hope that in the end everything would be all right and that Ritsuka wouldn't disappear from who he is. A brilliant piece of fiction.
WOW!! That was really awesome!! It just pulled me in and wouldn't let me go. I just absolutely loved it. An awesome story with two great characters. I love how you took them and put them into a different world. It is a great piece of work. I do hope to read some more.
*blushes* I'm glad you think the AU thing worked out alright. This is a one-shot so I won't be writing more of it, but I am thinking of writing related pieces on madness (I was thinking of reversing the storyline and having Ritsuka play psychologist to Soubi's patient).
In the meantime, you can check out Munchausen's Shadow. (Click on the 'loveless' tag on this journal, or there's a link on the raburesu post.) It was my first Soubi/Ritsuka and I'm quite fond of it. It's rated R/NC-17, though.
Your's is a beautiful style. This story is beautiful. I can't even call it a fic without feeling I am downsizing the beauty of this piece. I have only high praise for this story. My favorite was the slightly disjointed style, but I loved it all.
This was beautifully wrtitten. I love how the relationship between Soubi and Ritsuka develops ... it's so tenous and bittersweet. And throwing Simei into the whole mix just upped the whole suspense and added another level of depth to the whole plot. Your expressions are really beautiful and made this a wonderful fic to read. Can't wait to read more of your stories. Do keep posting!
Thank you! The relationship between Soubi and Ritsuka... well, from anime/manga canon I got this very wistful, bittersweet feeling from them, and I tried to reproduce that here, so I'm glad you think it worked out!
