I think the other problem is that the next episode isn't until January, so right now we're stuck with no resolution. Nothing saying "and then the rapists get what's coming to them." Sure it's implied that something like that will happen, but that's not as satisfying as actually knowing it will happen

So thinking about this, I don't know if I actually have any comments on what you've said. I don't have that hyper awareness of always being in a position where I might at any time be overpowered and raped, and I don't think I agree that the evil we saw in Caine and Thorne and the jerks with Cally (who I have come to hate anyway for her general idiocy) is necessarily endemic to the entire crew -- because we saw the XO's hesitation and the whatshisname's civility and the CAG's "friendly warning". These aren't all bad people, I don't think, just the same way that people from the States aren't all bad people even though our leaders are.
