Are you sure that shouldn't read; 'Alone, the Tooth Fairy died today' or 'The Tooth Fairy died alone today'?

I'm no syntax nazi, and am not here to 'correct' you - just wanted to find out your reasoning behind how you've phrased it.

I typed it after being awake for almost 23hours... That's about all the reasoning I have. I think I was feeling dramatic and emo-y which is strange in it of itself.
