heh! yeah... it's gonna be weird. i really feel like it's time for a change. i've had hair down to my waist and longer for about 6 years. i'll probably grow it back when i'm done playing with it.

Well, I admit I'm biased to long hair. And yours is so pretty! But I'm sure it'll look awesome short too :)

I'm only cutting it up to the middle of my back for a while (still kind of long... but i'm cutting off almost 2 feet of hair), i'm going shorter than that eventually.

it's a consideration... i haven't decided yet. the mass of hair i'm cutting off is pretty ratty. my other idea was to have a messy poofy hair piece made out of it.

heh, it's funny, if i didn't tell anyone they might not have noticed for a while anyway, i wear it up almost all the time (part of what inspired me to cut some of it off... now i can wear it down w/o a hassle.)

Re: all these people freaking out over you cutting your hair. I think you will look fabulous and amazing and unique and ninja-sexy no matter what you do with your hair. I bet they'll all agree, too.

you're totally right. my hair has been my major identifying item for years now. i'm looking forward to how different having shorter hair will feel.

me too! i'm only taking it up to about bra-line now, and having some bangs installed (heh) so that i have some hair around my face. in another while i'll probably cut it a lot shorter. get some funky colors put in. exciting!
