So I have decided to start a new journal and leave momentofbeauty in the past. I am moving to a new state soon, will be attending a new school, and have a new outlook on life. So with all of the recent changes comes a new journal. If you would like to be added, please comment. Hi! Its always nice to meet new people, especially those interested in horses. If you are looking for lessons, I am doing dressage ones at Xenophon Farms in Montague, there is also Stone Pony (polo and eventing i think?) not too far from campus as well as some other barns in the area. What level rider are you? I ask this because I am looking for someone to ride my guy once/twice a week since ive been so busy lately that I havent been able to. He is an older, semi retired TB gelding....normally very quiet, but he can either take to you or not and at times he shows his TB side...but very rarely since my nickname for him is "cow." He is pretty quiet and well mannered and while he used to be a great mover and really good show horse, his stride has shortened with age. He hasnt been ridden much since I moved him up here, but he would love someone to dote on him. He is normally pretty cool about not being ridden very often, but I am trying to get him back into regular exercise, which im not always able to do. If you want to try him, let me ( ... )

Hey! Actually, I haven't been riding since in YEARS but I'd like to start up again. I'm talking, like, 9-10 years. I stopped lessons when I began to jump because I was involved in too many other things when I was younger and didn't have time to commit. I've been exposed to horses all of my life -- my grandma was a trainer for YEARS until she recently retired so they owned/trained/raced horses. She was one of those "I don't hurt my animals when I train them" trainers so it was neat to help her out sometimes! My dad recently moved and has some land in Cali and is going to be getting a horse soon so I thought I should start riding again to get back into it so when I go home I'll already have the feel again :) Okay, I'm going to check out those trail rides and stuff and hopefully we can talk soon!
