The weather the past few days has been so wonderful! This is part of the reason I moved to Seattle. I enjoy a chill in the air, a damp breeze and an excuse to wear a cute sweater. There has even been a bit of thunder- I DO miss the huge thunder and lightening storms that we had back in Denver. I do not miss the extreme heat and ozone alerts all ( Read more... )

This weather has been perfect, not too hot, not too cold. I hate when it's oppressingly hot/humid out.

I haven't seen you in quite awhile lady. Plans Friday?

I don't know honestly, I'm pretty open to anything. Wasn't sure if everyone was doing the Merc? Or we could all do dinner or cocktails?

This summer in Denver has been fairly cool and has rained nearly every night. I guess it was the wettest June on record or close to it.

ooohh.. you're into crow Augury, too? i searched for years for a book with it called Crows: An Old Rhyme (pictures by Heidi Holder). what's funny is that what's in the book is different from what i recite off the top of my head, which is:

one for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy...

whereas the book goes:

one is for bad news, two is for mirth, three for a wedding, four for a birth...

according to the book, eleven is for sorrow and twelve for joy. i have no idea where my version came from. perhaps it formed merely because it flows better, to me.

do you have a version?
