Haha. Change some I think! I'm really annoyed now, cos when I was in Europe, the exchange rate was really strong!!! So I could have probably saved quite a bit in retrospect. But anyway, think MAS weakened our SGD, not sure if that affects the rate with Euro, but in any case. :)
Also, that means buying stuff from US has now become more ex! :(
Oh yes I just read in the papers yesterday that the MAS will not be allowing our currency to strengthen against the others for now :( Which means that the Euro depreciation might not actually make a difference after all, I don't know. I'd better go down to the money changer and check the exchange rate again.
Yes, about the more expensive US dollar :( Sprees use a rate of SGD1 : USD 1.53 now, which is absurd! That's almost like the old rate of a year back!
CONGRATS BABE!! WOW...u're going germany?? HAHA. living alone overseas is seriously a really "interesting" experience. I'm sure u'll come back with loads of stories. haha. Can't wait to see you!
Yeah, it *should* be confirmed. As long as I can get my Visa processed! Uh huh, part of the reason why I chose to go on an exchange programme is cos I really want to live life independently ... all 20 years of my life I've never really gotten to see the world for myself, without being surrounded by friends and family. So I want to do that over in Germany! And of course we'll get to see each other when you come back in December, can't wait!! xoxox
Thank you! I want them all too! But omg, getting just one item alone would probably be equivalent to one month's worth of living expenses. So I can't! Think I wanna make use of my savings to go travelling instead :D
