Ah.. blessed silence and comfort again. Raphael decided to continue his travels and will be touring around the Middle-East some more before going back to Europe. I gave him a dictaphone so he can tape his thoughts and anecdotes, as I still think his adventurous travels will make for a great book ( Read more... )

I never thought I'd miss silence as much as I did until Raphael-kun visited...never thought I'd miss our alone time as much either. And I can't be the most wonderful, for you already are, mou hitori no boku. ^_~

*nods in agreement* Without worrying about Raphael coming along behind us and smashing every fragile thing in our vicinity.

*giggles* No, you are, koibito.

Which reminds me.. it is safe again to put out our vases and glass ware and the good dinner plates. I locked everything in our library to escape the massacre...

*fondly gazes at him* There is only one as magnificent as you, and that is you...

Hmm, even at this distance, I can somehow tell everything must be quieter without Raphaels presence. Nice of you to give him something to record his travels on, though I would have thought he'd be paying you back for all the stuff he broke. *small laugh* I mean you might not have had anything to put in the sotre if he had stayed longer...

Much, much quieter, Amelda... and our refridgerator stays strangely full too... I am really looking forward to his book, he is a great storyteller if he sits down and... ah, adjusts his speech pattern a little. I have always been interested in stories and traveling, though I have found my place here and would not leave it for anything in the world. *smiles* It is a good thing I managed to save most of the inventory...

Hmm, the joy of leading a life without the symphony of crashing antiquities, you must love it. And I'm sure once he settles he can get on to taking everything he's recorded and effectively creating a book out of it, if he ever decides to take a break of course.

No I don't think you would want to leave now, though at least your birthplace accepted you back, I don't dare tread into my past home for fear of being caught in political anarchy.

The silence is a blessing, and being able to hear my husband's voice without resorting to yelling is a blessing as well... there were so many locations left he wanted to see, so I doubt his book will be published anytime soon- though even the most restless of hearts need to settle down once every often.

I was afraid Egypt would.. ah, reject me, as it is not really the country anymore the way I knew it, but still.. there are ties enough to my homeland that made it accept me, and I am very glad about that. I am sorry to hear about that, Amelda.
