I already know that I am a huge geek but I am so excited for this book to come out that I can hardly stand it. I have a countdown downloaded as my desktop. After that I suppose I will have the movie in November to be excited about. After that,I will be lost. How long are we going to have to wait for the last book? I just started reading these at bedtime to my daughter. We are on the 2nd book. I had originally thought they were for kids but I found myself continuing to read them long after she had fallen asleep. I have also come to find out that many adults are fans as well.

I got sucked into them Christmas three years ago. I was at my brothers house and his preteen/early teen kids were all die hard fans.I picked up the Chamber of Secrets and read the whole thing while dinner was cooking. The next day,I went out and bought all four books. I don't think they are really children's books at all.

I keep trying to convince myself that I don't have to buy the new Harry Potter til it comes out in paperback, that I have plenty of books to be reading that will fill my time.

I just know I'm going to lose this battle, I'll be running to the bookstore along with everyone else when it hits the shelves.

I shudder to think what'll happen when the series is over. I hope something just as good comes along to fill the void, 'cause it'd going to be rough!

I know. Its gonna be crazy. HAve you ever been to the Leaky Lounge? Its the Leaky Cauldron message boards. Some of the fans have a lot of emotional stock in these characters. One of the reasons I stopped going there is because,while I admittedly have no life,it isn't because of these books.Know what I mean?
