Me and Erin and Addy walked 4 miles this afternoon.It felt wonderful.Erin is looking to do the same thing I am,not necessarily diet but just be healthier.We were talking while we walked and we both decided this is the very best thing because we would have a hard time doing it on our own but now we can push and nudge each other and it will be much ( Read more... )

Thanks! I am not sure that I would be able to stay motivated if I didn't have a walk buddy.

Walking is awesome for your body...it's low-impact, so it doesn't ruin your joints. Having a buddy is even better, because you have someone to talk to and it doesn't seem like a chore.

All my nutrition books say that eating 4 to 6 small meals a day is better for you than eating 3 big ones, because your blood sugar doesn't have time to dip really low between meals (which makes you want to pig out when you finally do get to eat) and it keeps your energy supply steady.

Up
