i know. but i am still in range, easy to come down and harass all my former students. and just think of the hours of fun you can have speculating about what i'm getting up to at gettysburg!!

well, you're remembering right but plans have changed. SCMS is going to be in Tokyo 1 year from now, and with the weak dollar I can't do both. So it's Tokyo in 2k9.

japan. wow. but won't that be covered, leaving you free to do both? i always said if one was going to go to japan, i highly reccomended having syracuse university pay for it.
you have to go to kyoto while you are there...so much better than tokyo, i thought.

btw, since everyone and their little dog, too, is attending conferences in japan these days, i want to go on the record that i did it before it was trendy.
