lord, i'm discouraged

i thought the job market was bad last year.

i'm pretty much fucked. at least i've found a night steam grate in the district i can live on. it's pretty central, convenient to shopping, nightlife, and transportation.

ok, what other careers do you think i could do? i've pretty much epic failed at this one.

i don't know if you ever met david jones - he was a visiting prof in philosophy last year, and goddamn, he had exactly the same grief that you did. philosophy and religious studies are, in particular, difficult disciplines to break into. don't be discouraged. you are young and have much energy. you will go far with your love of the field, your dashing good looks, and your ability to staple anything made of paper, no matter how many sheets are involved.
