renee a college cant accept you based on how much money your parents make. also most finantail aid packeges come from teh government not the college so it would not make them lose any money. also most colleges leave the option of makeing your own major. in fact uconn does and most schools the only differnce is in the coarses that might have been offered.

also fate is not based on what you want or even what is better for you. if fate gave everything they wanted eveyone would be feed and there would be not wars or violence. there is not possable way for anyone to comprehend what god is thinking. it thinks on levels humans could never understand. it would be like an ant trying to comprehand what we are thinking. life is not fair or just and it never will be just be appretative for what you have. we all love you renee. and you life is not closed to ruined but this is just a way into a whole new bright future that could be even better than hamshire.

Well see its not right but it happens all teh time. I dont know if it did in my case or not. the government can only give you so much in fincial aid, and student loans are like only 500o your first year. Hampshire gives out bonds, so I would need liek a 30k bond, which would indeed cost them money.

I'm so sorry to hear you didn't get accepted! I'm sure there's not much more that can be said that others haven't already said, but this is a minor loss, and you'll do fine whether you make the next wave of acceptances, or you find another school to go to. I thought Virginia Tech was the right college for me but I ended up at the last college I'd ever think of going to, and things worked out much better that way. This could be a blessing in disguise in one way or another, so think of it that way. Good luck!
