Ok its been a very long time... I think I will actually update soon but seeing as I get up at 5:30 every morning, 10:08 is way past my bedtime
( Read more... )
I read somewhere that if you haven't talked to someone in a year, don't invite them. I'm making exceptions for some people though :)
The way I look at it, I'm inviting the people that, if they weren't there, the whole thing would feel incomplete in some way. Would I look around and say, I wish so-and-so was here?
I understand with not knowing how to limit people. Devin and I both have at least 30 people from our jobs, but when you invite A you have to invite B and if B's going then you have to invite C, and so on and so forth.
omg 600!!?!?!?!? wow I feel better.... where are you putting all these people??? I don't really have trouble limiting people from like high school - I had my little group of girls (halley, jenn, katie, heather) that are coming - and a few others (like you guys of course) but college is where it gets hard... I really think I'm going to take my mother's advice (GOD forbid) and place a general invitation on the board in the studio - so that way I haven't PERSONALLY invited anyone... so probably half the class wont show up - like 20 - so that will be a good number... and I may send a few invitations personally to my 5 closest friends or something...
thanks for the advice
oh and I'm glad for where I work - the whole office is invited... yep, all 8 of them - HA!
You should still stick to the top 5 or 10 and just tell the rest that you can't host as many people as you want. That or head for Mexico now and get married without an angry mob following you. Although, you'll probbly have to deal with us scratching your window in your cheap Juarez hotel room calling for you everynght...
Well, of course you are invited! Hopefully yall will be able to come down but if not I understand -
In fact - you can probably go ahead and tell your dad - I know I should send out like "save the date" type stuff for people out of town but I didn't even think about it - its on July 28th -
but duh - I'm going to copy this into your journal b/c it wont show you I replied b/c you aren't logged in!!
