A much better movie about young vampire angst came out in the 80s. It was called "The Lost Boys" and OMG TWILIGHT IS SO INCREDIBLY LAME!

For some reason, I agreed to chaperon a big group of teenage girls for the midnight showing last night. One of the girl's mom is a good friend and she assured me that I'd enjoy it because the books were so OMG SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I... just... I didn't have enough eyes to roll at the CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE. They freaking made him glow and sparkle, and every time Edward came on screen I heard a dozen pre-teen girls go *SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH!*

So yeah. ugh.

I had only vague ideas of what the movie was going to be about, and my friend is usually a pretty good judge as to if I'll like something.

Ohhhh, so terribly wrong this time. She owes me big. Like taking my kids to Chuck E. Cheese big.
