You may not understand but for us minorities it is a big deal. Especially for multi-racials like me. Like you I get annoyed about certain things that are shoved in my face too. Such as Hollywood and its obsession with white washing everything, because of course minorities cannot draw in a crowd for anything, like in the Avatar movie where the cast has been made completely white. This is not me being a racist since my mother was white...just stating the facts! So it is going to be this way for awhile. The only way for you to escape it is...well moving to another country won't help either since his popularity is international!

Look at racial demographics for the United States. Considering that more than half of the country is white, it makes sense to market to the majority. That's not a hate thing, it's just business. Business exist to make money, plain and simple.
