I just got back from seeing Saved! and I think it is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Mandy was great - I hate how she always plays the bad people, but she does it so well so it's hard to complain. It was so funny (I know what you're looking at Mary, and Jesus does too. Priceless!) and really made me feel good walking out of the theater. I don't know what it was about it, but I felt...lighter somehow. I dunno. But it was good to finally see a movie that was funny but had a point and a moral. Granted the ending was a little cheesy (like her mother wouldn't know she was preggers, c'mon!), but it was great nonetheless. I loved the subtle romantic-ness, especially when Mary's boyfriend (God, I already forgot his name. The hot, non-gay one) was all "that doesn't matter to me" when he asked Mary to go to the prom with him. And I am probably going to have to kick myself for saying this, but Macauley Caulkin was reallyhotsquee. Sorry my review sucks, but I am exhausted. Forgive me!
