Phil said something to me the other day that really made my life. :) haha. No, but seriously, it made me happy. He just let me know how proud he was of me for working and paying off my cards, etc. He said that I was becoming a "responsible adult," and that he was proud of me for not having to rely on my brothers or anyone else for help anymore

It's good that you don't have to rely on them anymore. Regardless of that, I would say you HAVE been being a reliable adult since you were balancing work, school, and PHIL. lol
