Our matches have been less-than-satisfying.
This early in the season, our opponents shouldn't even be taking a single point from any of you. Renji, I'd like you to deal with Akaya for the next two weeks to correct his problem. I'll refrain from typing out a list of everyone's faults, but you all need to remember that just because it's early and these are easy matches, that's no excuse to get sloppy. Hopefully I don't need to detail the areas that you need to work on, but if any of you feel that you need help remembering, feel free to come to me for a thorough assessment.
On a lighter note: This coming Monday is Gen'ichirou's birthday. As you know, there will be no surprises, but we will have a low-key gathering at my home following that day's practice. He has requested no gifts. Dinner will be served, and before anyone asks, no, I am not cooking. Also, despite the rousing success of Bunta's Mexico vs. Godzilla party, this occasion will not have a theme. I hope to see you all there.
I'm pleased to see some of my favorite rivals doing so well. Quite a lot of you are not disappointing me so far this season; maybe if one of the Tokyo tournaments falls on a weekend that ours doesn't, I might stop by to check it out in person. ♥
I'm curious. Does anyone have any questions for me? On any topic at all. I'm feeling generous today.
