So, I downloaded the latest version of Galactic Conquest and when I go to play a map, it will load, then the screen will go black and the music will skip a few times, and I'll get an error message saying that BF1942 has to be shut down. Any suggestions

yes, go:

go into the bf1942 folder then mods then the galactic conquest folder and delete it, problem solved ;)

but seriously, are you all patched up?

yeah, I got the latest one that they released

Try deleting the mod then reinstalling.

Worked for me, though I think the mod is crap...

But I remember the first time I flew to a flag...

I did a little happy dance.

Then I died, because let's face it: doing a happy dance after flying in a multiplayer game..is stupid.
