I turned my own day around.

Started a new one over, if you will.

I did a bunch of yard work today and it felt great.  It feels great to take part in something.  Something being this house.

I'm tired and have to go to derby.  We are getting our shirts soon.  I can't wait.

LIfe is good.

I am really tired of all the bad car shit that has been going on for a year now.  Two busted windows, front and back bumper scratches and mangles...and now my tire is flat.  I was suppose to purchase my derby gear.  Now I have to pay for a new tire ( Read more... )

1.  I really enjoy coming home from derby practice to my quiet little home.  I am not sure the difference quite yet, as to why this time is special to me, it just is.  Perhaps it is that the puppies are quiet and cuddled with Dad and I can tip-toe through the house trying not to wake anyone.  This time, and in the morning is really nice ( Read more... )

Roller Derby has officially been practicing for over a month now.  I've attended all conditionings and am enjoying it immensely.  A lot of girls have come and gone, but I've remained.  Because I have remained, I am automatically in the league and on my way to a team.  I will be able to officially register my Derby name with the affiliation and I ( Read more... )
