nice pictures! I didn't realize you use cloth diapers until just now. I've heard all kinds of crazy things about the environmental impact of cloth vs. disposable diapers, and I don't know what to believe. What makes them a more compelling choice for you?
We used disposables for a little bit just because people gave them to use for the shower and stuff, and the amount of GARBAGE produced is INSANE. As it is we have our garbage picked up once a month rather than every week and we would not be able to do that anymore if we used disposables. Also, during the warmer months we can hang dry the diapers and wash in cold water which saves energy. Plus the expense of buying diapers seems a lot higher to me. And you don't have to run to the store for diapers if you find yourself low on them.
Also-it just feels like the right thing to do to me.
BTW-I got your message on Halloween, I just forgot to call back. I'm sorry. My brain is mush-I didn't mean to leave you hanging. :(
That's okay :) I know your hands are full all the time. I got a lot done and had a great time during my last visit. On halloween my lady friend and I went to see pet sematary at the psu cinema. Thanks for the diaper story - like I said I've heard lots of things and it's interesting to hear something in favor of the cloth diapers. I know what you mean about the trash issue - I hardly make any trash at my home, and I'm just amazed at how much trash I see people make when I drive around before trash pickup.
