Anonymous?

I lean more toward socialist beliefs as far as government is concerned, fyi. I think these people need psychiatric help and if the government has to pay for it then so be it. It's worth it.

I believe that welfare is a good thing, and it's there for a reason. Without it our society is disgusting. As a nation we have more than enough to go around. Even the poorest poor in the USA is not doing that bad compared to some other countries and that's because of our social programs. However, when people openly, selfishly abuse the assistance we can give I think it's wrong.

And it's the kids that suffer. That's not fair.
I come from a big family and I know the ups and downs about it. Any more than 6 and my mom would have lost it-and she's amazing. She was one of those people who was born to be a mom. But 6 is pushing it. 8 is maxing it out. 14 is sick.

Sorry about your expensive drugs. Do you have insurance? If not you could always have a million kids and try to get free healthcare. :P
*hugs*

And no husband.

And living with her parents (and her father is going back to Iraq to go earn some money for them).

And filed for bankruptcy a year and a half ago.

Studies have clearly shown that when you have >4 the kids start to get way less attention and starting with kid #5 some degree of neglect is inevitable unless the children are spaced well apart- IQ and mental stability falls. 5 years is considered the spacing for "only child syndrome" which is why sometimes you meet people that act like they are only children but actually come from big families ( ... )

There has never been a case of naturally occuring octuplets, so this woman did it on purpose. And as for selective reduction-why did they implant so many in the first place?

I don't know about the deodecaplets....

They had no business implanting so many. I don't think there should be a law that prevents more than 3 being implanted simultaneously into 1 person.

In her case, if she has 6 kids between 2 and 7yrs old she is plenty fertile and should not have had any fertility treatments at all! The doctor that did that should have his licenses revoked.

Right-what the hell was she doing getting fertility treatment in the first place? It's made a laughing stock of the whole business.
