As a warning, the book is nothing like the movie. NOTHING. Actually, the best way to put it is the movie is nothing like the book. Give it a chance though, I'm sure it'll be good. I'm stuck on the third or fourth chapter because I haven't gotten a chance to read. Too busy. A plane would be the perfect place to read. Also, you should give The Phantom by Susan Kay a try, I heard its good. Goes more into Erik's past. I've heard mixed reactions about The Phantom of Manhatton (I think thats what its called).

Willy Wonka is such a good movie. Well, not a good movie but Johnny Depp was amazing. I think it's his best acting work yet. I've seen it three times, and may go see it again (haha we should go before you leave because we need to do something!!!)
