Brady:Good Morning!:Mommy

Apr 26, 2004 03:46

Brady rolled over in her bed, she felt like she'd been sleeping forever, and she was up in a flash, Lily in her arms, flying through the curtain that separated her room with her Mother's and into her bed, bouncing a little as she crawled up. "Mommy it's morning," she informed her, climbing ontop of her and laying back down. She glanced up at the ( Read more... )

Trudy stirred in her sleep as soon as she felt the bed move knowing full well who was awake. She was happy that no nightmares had waken her up in the middle of the night and that Brady seemed to be in a good mood. Trudy opened her eyes, but didn't move at first as Brady was on top of her. She had this habit of doing that. She heard the rumble of the little girl's stomach. "Is that my stomach or yours?" She teased before rolling over and grabbing Brady into a hug. "Morning Sweetie!" She kissed her head lightly.

Brady closed one eye and thought about this, "Maybe our tummys growled at the same time," she said, then giggled when she was rolled over into a hug. "Morning. Let's get up, Mommy," she demanded. She was wearing her long night shirt and her clothes were set out in her room, she knew she needed to get dressed first. "Mommy? How long will Uncle Bray stay in bed? He's been in bed a long time," she asked quietly, looking up with big eyes.

"Okay...okay...I'm up." Trudy said with a grin before sitting up in bed. Brady always had an early schedule which usually fit the Eco's, but here at the Mall she wasn't sure if anyone else would be up. She paused when Brady asked her questions. What to tell her and how? "Uncle Bray should be feeling better really soon and I'm sure he can't wait to see you. We'll talk to Aunt Amber later and maybe we can visit him. You can give him a big hug from the both of us, okay?" She pushed the covers aside and stood up, lifting Brady up off the bed and placing her on her own two feet on the floor. "Now let's get dressed!"

"Yeah!" she cried happily in response to hugging Uncle Bray, then happily padded off to her room, breezing through the curtain there and stopping at her bed to place Lily down. She reached down and pulled her night dress off, flinging it onto her bed before grabbing her pants. She dressed quickly, then her shirt, and her dress, her jewlery and shoes and sat down with her back facing the room, waiting for her Mommy to do her hair. She'd had a bath the night before, so she wasn't wearing Tribal markings either, and she knew her Mommy would redraw them. Brady didn't really like too much change, she liked stabilitiy and simliarity, though she didn't mind change from time to time, but she had faith that her Mother would do her hair and her tribal markings the same way as always, and she waited patiently for her to begin.
