Bray groaned and shifted. He managed to open his eyes and look round. Someone moved, he wasn't in a position to see who, his arms were tied behind his back

Salene woke with a start, a sharp pain ran up her back and she gasped for air. Laying on this hard floor had made her back hurt, and the pain shot up, through her head and right into the back of her eyes and she moaned. She had hoped sleeping off the headache would have helped, and she hadn't been thinking very clearly as she could have had something of a concussion what with a knock to the head, but she'd been unable to keep herself awake and had drifted in and out of sleep. The headache was a little better now, and she reached up to her head wound, touching it gingerly, it wasn't bleeding anymore but it was still a little damp and this made her groan again, she needed something to hold to it. She was startled, however, when she heard a groan nearby and sucked her breath in, who was that? Was someone in this dark room with her

Bray heard the movement... but he didn't hear footsteops. They were gasping, he definately wasn't alone but what he could hear sounded like someone else in the same position as him. He wanted to get up and see, but he doubted he could, it was very dark. He wanted to speak out, but he was wary of anyone else being in the room.
Bray just laid there and did nothing, he figured it was the safest option. He had to find his own way out, he couldn't be concerned with anyone else, what if someone went after the other mall rats, what if someone went after Amber, or baby Bray.
He tried his best to silently work at the ropes that bound his hands. They were tight though, and he couldn't help but grimace as they cut into his wrists.
Salene slowly worked towards sitting up, each shift of her head made her brain hurt more, but she was determined to get up, to put a wall behind her, maybe a corner where two walls met, and from the direction the sounds were coming from, she knew which way to move. She sat up and scooted back, coming in contact with a wall, and she pulled her knees to her chest and hugged them tightly, placing her head against the wall, uncaring if it was wet or whatever that was on the wall. She wasn't going to think of that right now, first she wanted to know who was in this room with her, so she could know if she could trust them, then she wanted to know who'd put her here, and why, and what that other person had done to be dragged into this dank dark pit with her.
Salene closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep, no longer able to fight the urge that was taking over her, her head heavy, and she let her head drop, resting on her arms propped on her knees.
Bray gave up trying to free himself from his bonds for now. They were too tight, and too strong to get out of with out the help of someone else, or at least a some of knife, or sharp object to use to free himself.
The other person in the room had stopped moving. He was pretty sure they were alone now, but he didn't want to risk anything yet. He shuffled himself back, trying to find something to prop himself up. His head still hurt, but there was also a more worrying problem. His side hurt, and he felt like it was wet. He hoped he hadn't reopened the wound. He gasped with sudden pain as he bent over on the side of his wound, it hurt badly.
