Amber was about to protest about being tired, but then she yawned and realised that Bray was probably right. "I guess I could do with a little nap, don't want to look too rough later on do I?" She joked, though she knew that right now she definately didn't look her best. After having a little nap and then a shower she hoped that she would feel sufficiently refreshed to enjoy the rest of her day.

Amber laid down on the bed and curled up against her son. She could hear his little sleepy breaths and it made her smile. "You will wake me up for lunch, won't you?" She ask Bray, as she reached out and stroked his arm. She still wanted some form of comfort from him, but Bray had chores to do, and it wouldn't be fair to demand snuggles at the expense of the Mall being looked after.

He paused there, leaning against the doorframe, reluctant to leave the room. Sometimes it felt like this room was the only place where things made sense to Bray.

With one last look at Amber and the baby, Bray stepped through the doorway, and headed into the meeting area to check the chore rota.

She had one short dream where it seemed it was Tai San who was to blame, claiming that she had brought back Zandra to get revenge on all the Mall Rats for letting her die on Eagle mountain, and in another dream she was being chased by Zandra through the streets of the city, as Zandra was out for revenge after being dragged back from the afterlife. However, these dreams as upsetting as they were did not cause Amber to stir. It was the noise coming from elsewhere in the Mall that did that ( ... )
