yes and no

i agree with the "pre-programmed" theory
but then again you can still make up your own mind
so in this day and age where most people are still scared about "coming out of the closet"
they have the choise to repress the desire to be attracted to the same gender
so being "gay" is and isn't a choice

simply put "you can't choose who you are attracted to, but you can choose to act upon it"

No, I do not think that it's a choice. Just like straight people don't thing 'hmm... maybe I'll be heterosexual!' Can someone really believe that the people who have been ostracized, persecuted, and even killed for being gay would have chosen that? It's just another part of who you are.

its not a choice. im bisexual and it wasnt my choice to be. it WAS my choice to tell ppl. so no its not a choice. u either are or ur not. some ppl try it out and dont like it. ppl are confused and dont know what their feeling are about so they act on it. some ppl like it, some ppl dont. so its not really a choice. its just who u are. u can choose to hide it but that doesnt change who u really are and how u really feel.

no it's not a choice, scientists have done tests where they look at brains of straight people and gay people, and found out that being homosexual is a disfigurement in the brain.
