Only two icons have been entered for Week 23 so I'm extending the contest until Wednesday, November 16. Seriously, if this week doesn't generate enough icons, I'm probably going to close it. I don't have time to keep making challenges and do the voting if only three people enter.

Maybe you should promote in theater_icons and other theatre icon communities? There are some Wicked icon communities and stuff...

I have promoted in the past and it hasn't done much, so I haven't bothered spending time doing it.

What I wonder about is why other icon contests are very active and this one isn't. And it's the same people who enter them, being active in one and not the other.

I don't understand it either. 'Tis weird. BTW, I'd submit icons if I could, I just have very little skill in the Photoshop area. ;)

Well, I think the problem is that a lot of the time when we post broader challenges, people complain they're too broad, and when we post more restrictive one we get people complaining that they're not broad enough.

We really don't want to have to shut down, but what with getting such a small amount of entries it really doesn't seem like it's worth our time or energy anymore.

That said, we appreciate your suggestion.
