can anyone help me with embedding a .swf file into an entry? ugh. i need help and livejournal is not helping -_-

ugh poo. trying to upload .swf files to an entry here and its not showing -_- any help? my guess is that .swf isnt compatable with livejournal or some rubbish like that

haha..ok so i have this avi file and i NEED to convert it into a gif but idk how, i need a free program that does it...converts the whole file (which is a wopping 5 seconds) and is able to save it...ive tried like 20 programs with no luck!
any help would be worship worthy

very disappointed....i desperatly need my own music on my dang ipod but i cant get itunes on my computer...therefore im here at the library with all the weird smelling librarians trying to download it and of course i cant..crappy!!! and i miss my tablet :(
