it never says anywhere in the bible that those who arent found faithful in the end will stay in their earthly bodies, it says we will all have bodies like unto his glorious body, so even those who are sinful will be supplied a body that cannot sin. whatever spiritual state you are in when you die, you are fixed that way throughout eternity, so, therefore if you what you enjoy doing the most when you die is committing sins, and you are supplied with a body that cannot sin, we can see from that, a true representation of what the torment of hell really is.

its not necessarily a "pit of fire" in the earthly sense of a pit of fire, meaning extremely hot and burning, etc. but a pure denial of everything you desire to do the most for all eternity.
