yeah so i decided that i should probably start posting more often in this thing, mostly for theraputic reasons, i suppose it's kind of nice to get things off of your chest. The reason why i don't often post is because for the most part i only feel like writing when something unusual has happened, or i'm not feeling well. which to be honest doesn't

word. i've been messing around with a lot of new theory and abstract stuff . i've been getting into jazz, a lot, on the guitar. and it's like completely relearning. when every note is thought out or has a purpose it makes things more difficult and more fun and easy at the same time. right now it's hard , but daily i feel myself progressing. playing nothing but 7th chords and upper extensions is way new to me . and learning how to play through appregios , use the 8 tone bebop scales, and learning every position on the neck for all of this stuff has been a journey and still is everday . i've discovered that sweep picking wasn't brought about by yngwie, but by jazz musicians doing bop guitar in the late 30's.. early 40's . crazy .

yeah, thats the thing about doing jazz, it's mad improvisation, but its all about knowing all of your options at once. It's laid back but at the same time it has such an intelligence to it.

i'm glad to hear that you're still playing, alot of peeps have plain given up, or just haven't gotten anywhere at all with it. Also you seem like you're doing well, it seems like ever since i left so many people have totally gone down the toilet. it's good to see that you're not falling apart like everyone else
