Does anyone have a good recipe for cucumber and onion salad that uses sugar? Mainly I am looking for a tried and true recipe with a specific salad dressing name, there are so many variations of italian/oil and vinegar/balsamic etc and I don't feel like experimenting until I get it right!

I use plain vinegar and 2 tsp sugar.

just cucumber, onion, vinegar and sugar?

I cant help you out with that one but I can offer another "recipe". I do everything to taste (so individual). Slice the cukes thinly as well as the onions. Add sour cream, salt and pepper. Major yum!
