omg betsy i'm so sorry you had to go through this. this happened to me and i know exactly how you feel. that kid i dated in the summer used to say how much he loved me and then i found all these messages in his inbox from this girl :( and i've been talking to her recently and realizing we both got the same bullshit from him. it's ridiculous and i wouldn't wish that hurt on anyone. you're a PHENOMENAL girl and never deserve to be treated like that.
