The _girl_ has been off her diet for some time now and as much as I love to cook, summer heat and meals for one are driving me out of my kitchen more and more.

Tonight I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try someplace new.
The criteria was near by, casual and reasonably priced.

After a short Google search and a look at the map I decided on

I am pretty sure it has changed owners (and your description of the food would agree with that...they used to have the BEST burgers and shakes you could imagine) since then, but Shantytown used to be a BBS that I belonged to (back before the internet had pages, pictures, and formatted text), and it was the hub of GT (Get Togethers) for the local BBS set. I even had my old Apple IIgs set up there and online so people could chat.

I tried going there a few years ago and the food had changed. Maybe we will try it again.
