In retrospect, this is mostly for Paco
Since through his addiction to realms he may understand the community around online gaming a bit better than most.
So, the game that I play has a sort of community with it, and among the people I went to college with three or four of us all play the same game on the same server and in the same group. Well, there are others who we hang around with as well, but that's beside the point.
Anyway, duirng one of the earlier hurricanes, one of the guys in the Florida area (we'll call him Perc) realized that he was directly in teh path of the storm and decided to move, so he posted to our message boards asking if anyone had a place where he could stay... Several people offered, but one in Texas (we'll call him Board) in particular offered along with the map below:
Well of course everyone laughed at Perc, and at Board's joke but then Rita came along and Perc got a bit of revenge since the current storm is headed exactly towards where Board lives... just as he called it on the map above. Perc posted this map for everyone, letting them see that Rita responded to Board who had indeed called the storm to him with his earlier taunts:
Enter my addition to the discussion, as I will try to bring the thunder down upon Cuba. I posted this map with the caption "since that's how it works I call down the next hurricane to atack Cuba thusly:"
