summer lovin'

my summer wasn't what i expected it to be at all. but don't get me wrong, i had a lot of fun.

it can pretty much be summed up with these pictures, which are pretty much like the rest of the ones i took these past few months:

i went back to my hometown of el paso.

so i spent a lot of time on my laptop late at night when i couldn't sleep, or i was at work.

my boyfriend was supposed to come visit me in el paso because he lives in the valley, but 5 days or so before he was supposed to come he gave me a lame excuse and we broke up. so i decided that my best friend anne was my new non-sexual boyfriend, since i spent everyday with her pretty much. so she listened to me lament about him, and we listened to his band because we like that type of music and apparently they're a big deal in the valley? i guess, but to me gallows holier than the cross sounds like they're screaming "Time out!" and "Sandle" over and over.

we drank a lot.

we drank everywhere. we went to a baseball game and i asked the mascot to sign my boobs, he ignored me though, stupid chicken,

we had a blast.

of course we did what every under age kid does in my home town, we go to mexico to drink and dance. some of my friends from school came down one weekend, along with my cousins so i ended up getting pretty drunk and dancing on a bar with a fat chick.

this picture sums up my summer pretty much: hanging out in a park with anne having a picnic, and drinking beer.

and this is supposed to be me and my big sister, however i fail to see the resemblence.

i drove my baby cousin crazy by messing up her magnetic letters on the fridge; gotta love greek life.

and after i read this, i realize what an alcoholic i sound like. geez, i do other things besides drink, i promise!
so now i'm bak at school in muggy san antonio, missing my best friend, running into my ex and getting used to my roommates and my schedule again. i hope everyone had a good summer, because it's over now and i'm not too thrilled about that.
