I'd like to read the Patrick Stewart one and the one by Rachel Maddow.

Those are good ones. You might actually enjoy the Liz Cheney one too because she really doesn't pull any punches about her colleagues. I don't agree with her on pretty much any policy issues, but I respect her for standing up for democracy and the Constitution over her own political prospects.

And, apparently, I forgot to include Mystic River by Dennis Lehane in the fiction category. About to add that one.

I was thinking about you the other day and your book list. You always read many more than I do but this past year, I stumbled on a series of books by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I’ve gone straight through their entire series for a few characters (not all) and have been in love with them. They write crime/suspense novels with a touch of the supernatural here and there. I have 20+ of their novels on my Kindle.

Hope you have a great year dear!

So glad you have enjoyed the Preston and Child books. I've read/listened to the first six of them so far (two in 2023) and I enjoy them, but I rarely cruise through a series quite that fast. I plan to listen to more (and I think they are improving - they came highly recommended, but I found the first couple had some terribly awkward dialogue and big plot holes, even though they were quick and exciting reads). I also read a non-fiction book by Douglas Preston, The Lost City of the Monkey God about finding a city lost in the Amazon which was also quite interesting if you like non-fic.

You have a wonderful year too!
