Some of my friends here on Enterprise have finally persuaded me that I should keep a Personal Log. I've always been of the opinion that my cuisine speaks for itself, and my recipe log should be all that matters ( Read more... )

Great dinner, by the way.

Can I get some eggs in the morning with the little shaved cheese you use? Not the big curls, but the fine ones? Cheddar. And melted just so.

Sunny-side up. And not all jelly-like. Just opaque, not solid.

Thanks, Chef! You're the greatest!

Thank you, Captain. I'm glad you and your guests enjoyed it. I had heard that Captain Picard was quite the wine connoisseur; I hope tonight's selections were to his liking.

Perhaps he might like to submit a taster's review to "Vintage!" magazine when he returns to his time; no one else in his century would have had the opportunity to taste that particular vintage in its prime.

With regard to your breakfast requests, it will be a pleasure, sir. Will you be wanting a bit of the cheddar in a ...um...doggy bag, sir? I know Dr. Phlox has said that it isn't good for him, but I'm sure Porthos would appreciate just a bite.

Will you be taking breakfast alone? You didn't mention any guests, and I haven't seen T'Pol at breakfast in some time. I'll plan on eggs for one, just the way you like them, but if you have unexpected guests, it's no trouble to make more.

Goodnight, Captain.

First I would like to thank you for all the work you did in creating the reception feast for my wedding awhile ago. The food was excellent and the cake was a work of art that it seemed a shame to cut into it.

Secondly, I will be assisting with the mission to the planet and would like to take some food supplies down. In addition to what Ensign Sato procures for the group we will need some fried Okra, something with cinnamon in it, and some t'lar'shan tea from Vulcan if you have it - mint tea and dill sprigs if you do not.

Thanks very much, Commander Spock! It was a privilege to help you and Dr. McCoy celebrate your wedding here on Enterprise. Maybe it will inspire some of this ship's happy couples to consider a long-term commitment! The cake did turn out nicely--I'm delighted that you liked it. I did save the top layer for your fist anniversary. ::notices arched eyebrow:: A human tradition, sir. I'm sure Dr. McCoy will expect it! It's in the freezer here--be sure to pick it up before you decide to go back to your own Enterprise or I can't be responsible if the engineering gamma crew snags it during a midnight galley raid.

I've put together some supplies for your away mission. We don't have any t'lar'shan tea, unfortunately, we thought we were going to ditch the Vulcan this trip but we have plenty of mint tea, and I found some dill. An unusual combination, sir, if I may say so. I don't believe T'Pol ever takes her tea that way. I'll have to suggest that she try it.

We don't get much call for okra, but I did find some it looked pretty grim, but ( ... )
