First off, excellent poem. I'm a big Bukowski fan, but that was my first time to see that piece. So thanks for posting it.
However, I have mixed feelings about the personal comment you left on the end. I can understand why rating communities would not be a place for writers, but this site (to me) does not seem to be just a rating community. Yes, technically you have to be "voted" onto the site before you can join, but after that it isn't about rates or votes or anything, it is just about getting helpful critiques and tips and the sorts.
And, personally, I don't think Bukowski, or many other writers for that matter, would be opposed to it. I don't have any other place to get my writing reviewed or learn anything more about poetry, so this place has helped me grow in my writing styles and knowledge about writing in general.

I agree with what you say. Isn't this the same as finding a group of friends with whom you sit around and write? Don't we all steer away from people we don't like in any group situation, tacitly agreeing with others that this perosn Does Not Mesh. Online, it's harder. This is one way to screen the masses. ;-)

He certainly played it for real. Studios wanted his script for years. He asked for something no Director or Producer would buy into. Buk said, "Not one word gets changed". Decades later he got the sale his way, and we have "Bar Fly"
