Ah, i just confirmed that I'm going to be in the nursing program i wanted. ah, what a relief. the program was pretty badly impacted and i'm going for my second bachelors. i was almost sure i would get a 'i'm sorry, but.." letter in the mail anytime soon. *phew ( Read more... )

and yes. well they're almost-middle-aged men that sell anime goods. i figure they have to watch at least some and know the basics of anime. i don't mind the cute.. it's the 'aww, she's terribly embarassed.. lets embarass her more to see what she does~" that maybe gets to me.

Congrats on getting into a nursing program! I toyed with the idea of getting a second Bachelor's myself but I'm not sure nursing is the right field for me (and how clumsy I am).

their conversation was pretty much in japanese, since one of the owners doesn't speak much english. i think it bothered me most that these were people who don't see each other often, save a few minutes when shifts overlap or when they happen to pass by, but it seemed to be pretty unanimous that my awkwardness was entertaining. it's like i missed out on some inside joke. ;_;

you're so close to finishing, ah i envy you~! NCLEX sounds scary~ tell me it's not~~
i'll be educating myself at hayward (now east bay) because they put extra limitations on admitting students from outside of districts for states and cities (so i've heard)-- stupid budget cuts. it's not so bad though, so long as i get to do what i want to in the end.
