I married a guy who lists Alfonso Cuaron's A Little Princess as one of his favorite movies of all time. Bring it up and he'll burst into song without the slightest bit of prodding. I adore Alfonso Cuaron and Joel and I cry at the same scene whenever we watch this movie

I love this movie too, and Secret Garden! I always get teary-eyed when I watch both. My friend lent me her 2-in-1 original dvd containing both movies and I couldn't believe two of my favorite movies could be found in one perfect original dvd, back to back (literally, one movie is in one side, the other is in the reverse). :)
