Why does iTunes have to suck so loud?

To get to the crux of this question we have to travel back just a bit:

Back in November I picked out 2 MP3 players and put them on Megan's Amazon Wishlist. The shiny new 8GB Ipod 4th Generation Nano in a gorgeous purple and the more economical but almost equally as nice Sony 4GB Walkman Video/MP3 player in a ( Read more... )

I got the same IPOD, but I haven't had too many problems with it.

It makes me feel like a massive failure. I mean, I did what I originally wanted to do but it just seemed so much harder than it needed to be. Plus I guess I'm just terribly disappointed in how disorganized it is in comparision to a 'lesser' MP3 player.

See? People keep saying cranky things about iTunes and it scares me. I just want to organize my songs and then stick them on something that will play them. I don't care about the rest...

I'm glad you posted this, because I have a cheap mp3 player. It doesn't have nearly the same capacity for music as an iPod, but it's better than the shuffle, because it has a display screen.
I've been looking at iPods for a long time, and I would love to have a Nano, but they're too expensive for me to just go buy one.
If they're that difficult, I probably don't want one, after all.
