It's do-able, but it's not fun. It means one partner gets dropped off at work early and picked up late, so the other partner can take and collect child to/from daycare and clock in the necessary hours at their job. I did it for three years and it was not fun. Cheap, but not fun.

This would work, theoretically, if my husband didnt work in Jacksonville, and I didn't intend to work in Orange Park. (ie, we weren't going in different directions, and he weren't working almost an hour away.) And Vinnie's daycare is on the way to Orange Park.

*sigh* This city is terribly spread out.

Lifts in with the f-in-law, then? :/

At least it's a warm city, in a warm state ;)

We actually do that right now (and we even have to drop our doggie off at daycare, too! Alright--actually we have to drop him off at Jason's mother's house, but same idea.) Luckily for us, although our jobs and the MIL are far from where we live, they are all in close proximity to one another. It's been working--it's just the long commute that cuts into our day a bit much.
