After Angel and I had come home, we stayed up a bit, sat by the fire, then we went to bed. I had had a long night, with slaying and everything. But when I met up with Angel, it seemed to be better in ways. Slaying with him was always more fun than doing it myself, I have to say. But then again, being alone slaying sometimes is comforting. I rolled over on the couch, I had a lot to think about. With Buffy here, it was nice of course but there were somethings I didn't understand. I opened my eyes to see that Buffy was no where in sight. I knew she could of went off to explore the down, that sort of left me out of the mix. I wanted her to see the city but the part of me not going with her made me feel a little left out.

I got up for a moment and adjusted myself. I headed for the door as I saw it was left open. It wasn't like her to just leave the door open so I had to wonder if she had actually left. I smiled for a moment as I could smell her. I stayed next to the door, daylight wasn't really my thing.

"B-Buffy?"

I said hoping to get a response.

About halfway down the block, I changed my mind. I wanted to spend the day with Angel, and going out in the sun wouldn't do that plan much good. So, I turned around and headed back to the house. Just as I was nearing the door, it opened and Angel stood there, looking like he just got up. But it was a very cute and sexy look that only he could pull off. When I wake up, I look like crap, even after I brush my hair.

I walked up to the door and smiled at him.

"Hey sweetie." I said to him, as I came up slipping my hand around his waist and giving him a quick kiss at first.

"Miss me? Well, I wasn't gobne long at all." I laughed, smiling.
