As I came around the corner, I heard noises in the alley. Pulling out a stake, I braced myself if they were vamps. When I came into the alley, I saw the vamps, but also Angel was there. I leaned against the wall and just watched. He had this totally under control.

"Anything happen while I was gone?"
I asked wondering what she had been up too. The time that we've spent together this summer was more than amazing, I've grown to really enjoy her company. I took my arms out as I embraced her with a hug and I kissed her forehead. If anything serious happened she'd let me know. Things haven't been so active here I had to admit I was starting to miss the hellmouth.

"Nothing real exciting. It was pretty boring. A couple vamps, but they were no fun. I had them dusted in less than 30 seconds. I smiled. Sunnydale was always active.
I started to walk out of the alley, taking his hand in mine.

I started to think of where should we go now, I've already been a couple of places throughout the night and she has probably covered the docks. I was about to give up hope on anything more special tonight.
"Anywhere else you think we should go?"
I asked, hoping that she would even suggest going home. Then my hopes started to vanish as six more vampires surrounded us in the alley. I again threw my arms to the side, and both stakes flew into my hands.
"Well I guess we could always take care of them first, ready?"
